Cookie Policy
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store. This page explains which cookies are used on Mavenlus and what you can do about them.
Essential. A small number of cookies are needed for the site to work correctly and to remember basic preferences during your visit. These cannot be switched off without breaking the site.
Analytics. We use analytics cookies to count visits and understand which stories are being read. These record information in aggregate, such as how many people opened a chapter and roughly where they were, and are not used to identify you.
Account and checkout. If you log in, a cookie keeps you signed in so that the parts you have unlocked stay available as you move between pages. During checkout, our payment processor Paddle sets its own cookies to complete the transaction securely and to prevent fraud. These are governed by Paddle's own privacy policy, not by ours.
How to control cookies. Every major browser lets you view, block, and delete cookies. Look under Settings, then Privacy. You can also browse in a private or incognito window, which clears cookies when you close it. Blocking cookies will not stop you from reading anything on this site, though some advertisements may become less relevant.
Do Not Track. If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, our analytics provider may or may not honour it, as there is no agreed industry standard.
