Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Mavenlus collects when you visit this website, and what happens to it.

What we collect when you read. When you load a page, our host records standard technical information: your IP address, browser type, the page you requested, and the time of the request. This is ordinary server logging and is used to keep the site running and to detect abuse. You can read the free parts of every story without giving us anything else.

What we collect when you create an account. If you create an account, we store your email address, an encrypted form of your password, your coin balance, which parts you have unlocked, and the dates of your purchases. We use this only to give you access to what you paid for and to contact you about your account. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it for marketing.

Payment data. Payments are handled by Paddle.com Market Ltd, which acts as the merchant of record. Your card number, billing address, and any payment credentials are entered on Paddle's systems, not ours. We never see or store your full card number. We receive from Paddle only what we need to unlock your purchase: an order reference, the product bought, the amount, and the email address used at checkout. Paddle processes your data under its own privacy policy.

Deleting your account. You can ask us to delete your account and its data at any time by emailing contact@mavenlus.com from the address on the account. We will delete it within thirty days, except for the transaction records we are legally required to retain for tax and accounting purposes.

Analytics. We use a web analytics service to understand which stories people read and how they arrive at the site. This tells us things like how many people opened a chapter and which country they were in. It does not tell us who you are.

Cookies. See our cookie policy for details on what is stored in your browser and how to remove it.

Children. This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Your choices. You can block or delete cookies in your browser at any time. Most browsers also offer a setting that asks sites not to track you. Blocking cookies will not prevent you from reading anything on this site.

Changes. If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page.
