I am forty-four years old and I own three independent pharmacies in Cadmus Falls, Pennsylvania, and on a Thursday in October I walked across the dining room of a hotel restaurant to remove a homeless child from my table. What my son said in the next ninety seconds took my marriage apart, and what I found in my husband's filing cabinet eleven days later took apart something considerably larger than my marriage.
